Mike was born and raised in the San Fransisco Bay Area. He did his undergraduate work at UC Santa Barbara with Professor Bruce Lipshutz researching transition metal catalysis with a focus on green methodology. His research in the Reisman Lab involves natural product total synthesis as well as organic methods development. Outside of the lab he enjoys cooking, hiking, spending time with his family and friends and following sports.
