Sara Dibrell, G5
Sara was born and raised in sunny San Antonio, TX.
Determined to remember the Alamo, she enrolled in the
University of Texas at San Antonio where she worked for
Prof. Doug Frantz on transition metal-catalyzed approaches
to furans and allenoates and the development of Nav1.7
antagonists for chronic pain treatment. She received a BS
in Biochemistry from UTSA in 2018 and decided to join the
Reisman Lab as to have the opportunity to debate the pros
and cons of the letter H in first names. Sara loves cats,
biking, cats, playing the marimba, cats, and
Tex-Mex.
