Like the boss, Travis was born and raised in a small town in Maine. Travis is a true globetrotter, moving all the way from snowy Maine to snowy Boston to study chemistry at Northeastern University. There he worked under Michael Pollastri, synthesizing antitrypanosomal compounds for sleeping sickness. Travis kept busy, also working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Vertex Pharmaceuticals before coming out west to work next to Caitlin (the #1 Harry Potter fan in the Reisman Lab). In addition to being the #2 Harry Potter fan in the lab, Travis also loves cooking, playing Rock Band on expert mode, volunteering at Pasadena Humane, and hanging out with his dog Zippy.​
