Preston was born and raised in Clovis, California. He went to college at UC San Diego, where he was a pitcher on the 3x Division II West Region champion baseball team. After graduating in 2019, he worked as a process chemist at Norac Pharma in Azusa and Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego. In his spare time Preston enjoys going on runs and trying to catch up on sleep.
